CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
_
Drive photography output numbers through careful monitoring of the photography queues, and focussed work
allocation and scheduling. Develop and maintain a positive, proactive and energetic spirit within the team, driving
team motivation and work ethic. Nurture, educate and up-skills Silo's team of photographers to maintain a focus on
shooting consistent, high quality product images and creative content within set deadlines and ensuring a minimum
rejection rate.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
_

Training and skill development of the photography team. Ongoing team development as well as one on one

training where required.

Capacity planning in terms of people and equipment understand what is required, people equipment, space

- any photographic dimension to complete a job.

Keeping track of individual as well as team image output numbers, daily, monthly averages and comparison
Management of the photography queues nationally, pushing photographers to manage time, meet deadlines

and avoid workflow bottlenecks.

Improve speed and quality of photography while reducing rejections to ensure we are constantly raising

output volumes.

Be an advocate for clear and consistent communication within the image workflow and with the Image

Workflow Manager.

Keeping track of relevant software updates and how these updates impact the photography workflow

efficiency

Forecasting & management of photography team KPI's

_QUALIFICATIONS /

EXPERIENCE:
_

Minimum of years of relevant work experience needed in a photography production environment
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, Bridge, Camera Formats, Colour and Lighting.
Leading a team in a fastpaced production environment
