    Area Sales Manager

    Soloplan is a leading international company in transport management systems. We seek a driven professional to enhance our global sales team.

    Your Responsibilities

    • Acquire new customers through phone calls and personal visits, targeting existing clients, forwarders, shippers from industry and trade.
    • Presentation of our software solution to potential new customers both online and on-site.
    • Quote and contract negotiations with clients.
    • Management of existing clients in the designated region.
    • Maintenance of regular reporting to branch management.

    Your Profile

    • Completion of logistics, business, or software degree with relevant work experience.
    • Exceptional IT skills with profound understanding.
    • Knowledge of the logistics sector with a specific focus on road freight transportation is essential.
    • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in software products and/or logistics.
    • A valid driver's license is required.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
    • Dedication to the job with excellent sales techniques.
    • Willingness to travel, requiring a valid passport.
    • Excellent proficiency in English and Afrikaans.
    • Good knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese is an advantage.

    Work Environment

    You will join a medium-sized but growing team at our Johannesburg Branch office. Daily contact with colleagues from head office in Kempten, Bavaria and several international branches in the UK, Poland, and Germany is also expected.
