Description

One of the leading Financial Services companies with Insurance, Asset Management and Banking streams. The company is listed on 3 major African stock exchanges, with a growing African footprint and vibrant culture. Our client is looking for a Test Manager to join their team on a contractual basis.

As a Test Manager you will plan, coordinate, track and perform the necessary follow-ups related to testing activities and ensure high levels of quality are adhered to during each testing phase (unit testing, systems integration testing and user acceptance testing).

Key Responsibilities:

Maintains the Test Approach with support and guidance.
Define Test Plans in collaboration of various stakeholders.
Manages all required test demand and forecasting in test team.
Recruits & allocates testers according to demand.
Manage resources & allocations, assists to scope & plan test effort.
Estimates & reports issued from Test Team.
Escalate test related Issues to management, reports on overall progress.
Responsible for quality control.
Report on quality metrics, highlighting trends and issues and driving this forward towards continuous incremental improvements.
Monitor and report on test progress.
Ensuring the proper use of testing tools and adherence to test processes and methodologies.
Ensuring the team follows testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology as specified in the testing approach.

Location & Type:

Cape Town (Hybrid)

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum of 6 years experience as a Test Manager
5 years experience in creating test plans, test strategies, roadmaps, methodologies and frameworks
Regression Testing, System Integration Testing, Functionality testing
5 plus years' experience in SQL
5 years experience with Automated testing (Development, Execution, Analysis and Reporting)
