- Source and select suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Manage inventory levels and monitor stock availability
- Work closely with other departments to understand their procurement needs
- Stay updated on market trends and industry developments
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and contracts
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any issues or disputes
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar role
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with suppliers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with procurement software is a plus
- Salary: R500k - R600k
