Cloud DWH Operations & Service Consultant (Senior)

Supporting Snowflake use case customers, consulting for use case onboarding, and monitoring data synchronization jobs are key responsibilities of this role.

Essential Skills

• IT Service Management (ITIL), 2nd Level Support
• High Customer Orientation
• Strong understanding of Problem, Incident, and Change processes (PIC)
• Working in a highly complex environment with multiple stakeholders, platforms, and products
• Flexible communication on multiple support channels
• Precise and diligent execution of ops processes
• Technical background in operating and supporting IT platforms
• SQL skills, including queries, DDL, materialized views, tasks, procedures, and optimization
• Experience with BitBucket/Git

Qualifications/Experience

• Relevant IT or business degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in development or operations

Responsibilities

• Support Snowflake use case customers
• Consult on use case onboarding
• Monitor data synchronization jobs
• Generate cost monitoring reports
• Implement technical solutions, including M2M authentication and data traffic over VPC
• Integrate Snowflake with use case application processes within data portals
• Document product depot and YPA
• Execute standard service requests
• Compile user and operational manuals
• Organize and document knowledge regarding incidents and customer cases
• Enhance and edit process documentation
• Coach and train fellow colleagues and users
• Resolve 2nd level incidents within the data analytics platform
