We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Liaison to join our team at Mirna Butler Recruitment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in relationship management, procurement, and inventory management, with a focus on building strategic partnerships and driving cost-effective solutions.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies to strengthen and maintain relationships with key suppliers and service providers, negotiating favorable terms and pricing, and leading end-to-end processes for building and nurturing supplier relationships.

Furthermore, the successful candidate will be responsible for fostering strong, long-term relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, evaluating partner performance, and conducting regular assessments and audits to maintain high levels of trust and accountability.

The Business Development Liaison will also identify opportunities for collaborative projects and cost-saving initiatives, compare partner offerings to ensure the best value for the company, and work with the finance team to develop and adhere to budgets while maximizing cost efficiency.

Additionally, this role requires coordinating with operational teams to ensure stock and resource levels align with business needs, monitoring inventory performance to avoid overstocking or shortages, and optimizing logistics and supply chain strategies for seamless operations.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal skills in English, proficiency in relevant software systems, and advanced Microsoft Office skills. They will also hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field, and relevant certifications such as AVCASA in agriculture.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of R450 000 - R550 000 per annum, group life insurance, pension fund, and a discretionary 13th cheque based on business performance and individual evaluations.
