COMMERCIAL MANAGER

Drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients. Mentoring, guiding & assisting staff. Achieve sales targets with required budgeted company gross and business margins.


Salary tctc:

Location:
KwaZulu Natal


Main Duties include:


  • Define the annual sales budget and set the defined targets in line with the company strategy, focusing on specific sales verticals with strong collaboration;
  • Develop a strong sales culture to drive sustainable financial growth
  • Management of all activities associated with the conversion of lead/sales into contracts;
  • Ensure constant visibility of the company's products and technologies via regular presentations at seminars and conferences
  • Develop and drive the sales process to increase probability of success and win deals
  • Responsible for profitability of orders, maximizing the value proposition
  • Execute and manage all commercial and contractual matters at tender, bid clarification and negotiating stages
  • Oversee project planning, project team with areas of responsibility and the launch execution
  • Ensure tenders are of a high quality are sustainable and profitable.
  • Continuous development for yourself and your team

Criteria:


  • Relevant Commercial Degree e.g., BCom Marketing or related
  • Min. 10 years experience managing and leading highperformance sales teams
  • Strong waste management experience (added advantage)
  • Persuasive, confident and assertive.
  • Must possess the ability to manage and develop business activity
  • Sound understanding of fundamental contractual issues
  • Able to develop and maintain relationships into the KZN Market
