Their mission is to design, manufacture, and deliver high-quality, customized wheelchairs that meet the unique needs of each child. As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a skilled Factory Floor Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations and ensure the efficient production of our pediatric wheelchairs. Shonaquip is seeking an experienced Factory Floor Manager to oversee all operations within the manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities / Duties
Including but not limited to:-Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers on the factory floor.
-Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery, coordinating maintenance and repairs as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
-Train and mentor production staff, providing guidance on best practices and quality standards.
-Resource allocation
-Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with industry standards and regulations, with a focus on safety and quality
-Team leadership
-Customer service and satisfaction
Experience / Skills
-Proven experience in manufacturing management, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role
-Strong understanding of production processes, assembly operations,inventory management, quality assurance, and safety protocols
-Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals
-Proficiency in using computerized production management systems, ERP software and Microsoft Office suite
-Knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in manufacturing operations
-Analytical mindset, problem solving abilities, and strategic thinking skills.
-Commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and sustainable practices in manufacturing
