    Job Description

    A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role is required for this opportunity, with a good understanding of manufacturing and FMCG costings.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist the finance team with general finance functions, including creditors postings, retail recons, and general ledger transactions.

    Cost Accounting Functions

    • Maintain and update cost accounting systems and procedures specific to manufacturing operations.
    • Analyse and allocate costs to various operations.
    • Conduct variance analysis to identify factors impacting production costs.
    • Analyse inventory variances and implement corrective measures to optimise resource utilisation.
    • Monitor project costs and provide financial oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Ensure all BOMs and costings relating to BOMs are maintained.

    Qualifications

    CIMA qualification is preferred or equivalent (B.Comm).
