Description

BSc or similar degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering

Skills and experience required:

Proven experience in the management of information systems as a whole

4-6 years' experience as an IT manager.

Excellent technical management, information analysis and computer hardware/software systems

Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation

Project management and vendor experience

Sage Report writing and development is beneficial

Manage information technology and computer systems

Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations

Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures

Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems

Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organisational policy

Identify problematic areas, present and implement strategic solutions in time

Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives

IT Audit integration with financial audit

Preserve assets, information security and control structures

Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness

Sage Report writing and development

Negotiate and administer all IT related vendors, outsourcer, and consultant contracts and service level agreements

Manage voice, video and data connections on-site at each location and deal with any disruptions in services

Training and coaching employees
