    About the Role

    Account Managers focus on achieving sales targets from within existing accounts. This involves two primary roles:

    1. Account Management: Managing day-to-day account operations, delivering excellent customer service in administration and service delivery.
    2. Account Development: Partnering with customers to understand their needs, adding value, providing support, and offering excellent customer service to grow existing accounts.

    Responsibilities

    1. Account Operations Management

    Identifying and facilitating sales and business growth opportunities, keeping commercial goals visible to the operations leadership team.
    Communicating with clients to comprehend their requirements and explaining product value.
    Bulding strong client relationships to maintain existing business and acquire new business.
    Collaborating with internal departments to ensure all customer requests are met.

    Maintaining an extensive network of internal and external contacts to optimize key account management.
    Leading relationship-building initiatives with principal vendors, including negotiations regarding pricing, procurement, and inventory control.

    Staying updated on new trends and innovations in operations.
    Managing business risk by continuously monitoring internal and external factors that impact the business and changes in stakeholder needs.
    Leading and guiding improvement projects to increase profits or mitigate risks in the function.
    Establishing and maintaining the highest ethical standards in operations practices.

    External Parties and Relationship Management

    Overseeing relationships with service providers and partners to ensure proper service delivery, evaluating consultant performance, and reporting any deviations to relevant departments for corrective actions.

    Candidate Requirements

    Educational Qualifications

    Tertiary qualification, preferably in IT
    Sales-related training

    Years of Experience

    At least 5 years of progressive experience in a professional services business, demonstrating the ability to manage, deliver, and grow accounts.
    At least 5 years of experience in Asset Financing or technology solutions sales, with a documented successful track record in selling high-end services & solutions in the relevant industry.
