    Position Overview:
    The role of the Project Manager is crucial in steering the organization towards its strategic objectives while ensuring effective operations and stakeholder engagement.

    Key Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in project management, including team leadership.
    • At least 5 years of expertise in youth development initiatives.
    • Significant experience at a senior leadership level within the education or non-profit sector.
    • Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
    • Proven ability to engage effectively with a diverse array of donors, including corporate entities, philanthropic organizations, independent trusts, and global institutions. A personal network of national or international donors is advantageous.
    • Experience in managing personnel, including mentoring and coaching team members.
    • High proficiency in computer applications and financial management, particularly advanced Excel skills.
    • Exceptional presentation capabilities.
    • Results-driven with a strategic mindset and planning skills.
    • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of professional interaction.
    • Extensive experience in high-level communications, including internal and external stakeholder engagement.

    Responsibilities:
    Operational Management:
    • Ensure the effective execution of directives from the Director and Board.
    • Continuously assess the operational environment to identify potential issues affecting the organization and communicate these to the Director.
    • Oversee administrative support for the Board and Executive Committees.
    • Act as a professional advisor to the Director on all organizational activities, delegating as necessary.
    • Plan, direct, and monitor operational activities to align with the organization's strategic objectives.
    • Guide program management and oversee special projects.
    • Collaborate closely with staff to ensure seamless operations, planning, documentation, and event coordination.
    • Provide regular updates to the Director regarding any deviations or risks to the organization.
    • Engage in daily reporting of responsibilities to the Director.
    • Develop partnerships and manage stakeholder relationships.
    • Oversee key strategic projects.
    • Support student management and retention initiatives.
    • Align organizational strategy with budgetary and legislative requirements.
    • Consistently monitor and review strategic plans, implementing corrective measures as needed.
    • Ensure effective communication of the organization’s vision and strategies to staff.
    • Manage staff performance against KPIs.
    • Drive results and align core business strategies with the organization’s objectives.
    • Prepare and manage board reports.

    Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Strategically grow stakeholder relationships in line with organizational objectives.
    • Maintain and develop relations with stakeholders through regular feedback and collaboration opportunities.
    • Coordinate donor-related activities in collaboration with the Director.
    • Develop strategies for donor retention.
    • Draft and manage funding proposals as necessary.
    • Provide guidance on donor reporting and governance requirements.
    • Support meetings with donors through documentation and follow-ups.
    • Achieve new business targets.
    • Manage legal, financial, and reporting aspects of donor contracts.
    • Ensure timely submission of progress and project reports to donors.

    New Ventures:
    • Collaborate with the Director on the creation of new project ideas, budgets, and funding strategies.
    • Ensure smooth operational implementation of new initiatives.
    • Engage in new business development by establishing strategic partnerships.

    Leadership:
    • Exhibit professionalism and visibility in all work-related activities.
    • Uphold the organization’s standards, policies, and procedures.
    • Maintain the organizational vision while leading program coordinators and staff.
    • Ensure strategic alignment among employees, students, and stakeholders.
