Minimum Requirements:


  • Matric certificate with maths and science
  • MV jointing and termination certificates
  • Minimum 5 years experience in MV cable terminations and quality assurance after certification
  • Valid drivers License
  • MV and HV electrical systems
  • Safety on mining and MV/HV electrical operations

Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Conduct and manage all quality assurance work
  • Conduct all quality assurance work on client's sites on MV cable work
  • Manage the quality assurance data packs for projects
  • Liaise with customers on project execution
  • Liaise with services department for testing requirements
  • Attend to breakdowns when needed
  • Manage all quality assurance template documentation
  • Manage and monitor projects and engage with contractors
  • Manage all project related tasks on MV installation
  • Monitor project execution timelines and schedules
  • Report the project progress to management on a weekly basis
  • Ensure quality of work carried out my Martec contractors and employees
  • Keep up with developing engineering specifications and documentation
  • Engage with suppliers and sub contractors on projects
