Description

We are seeking a friendly and outgoing sales promoter to join our team in the retail industry.

As a sales promoter, you will be responsible for attracting and engaging customers, promoting our products and services, and driving sales at our retail store.

If you have excellent communication and persuasion skills, a passion for customer service, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

In this role, you will be the face of our brand, showcasing our products and engaging with customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

Your main goal will be to maximize sales by effectively promoting our products, answering customer inquiries, and building strong relationships with customers.

Additionally, you will collaborate with the sales team to achieve monthly targets and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities:

Engage with customers in a friendly and approachable manner to understand their needs and provide assistance
Demonstrate and promote our products, highlighting their features and benefits to encourage customer interest and sales
Build and maintain excellent product knowledge to confidently answer customer inquiries and offer appropriate recommendations
Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves, ensuring product availability, and monitoring expiry dates
Collaborate with the sales team to achieve monthly sales targets and provide feedback on customer preferences and trends
Attend team meetings and trainings to stay updated on product knowledge, sales techniques, and company policies
Maintain a clean and organised store environment, including tidying displays and arranging products to attract customer attention

Requirements:

NQF 4 Equivalent, Matric Certificate or Higher
Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team and independently
Strong sales and negotiation skills
