Description

Looking for a strong, passionate and determined individual to work on the activities, Maintenance and operations of a large and busy 3 star lodge.

Specific requirements
Valid Drivers license with PDP

Valid Tourist Guide Membership

Minimum 3yrs as a guide with preference to Manyeleti and Kruger Experience.

3yrs Lodge experience

Extensive knowledge of vechile and all round lodge maintenance (geysers/ generator etc)

Computer literate

Certificate/Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar preferable

Main Roles:

Managing team of freelance guides

Managing 6 x Open Safari vehicles

Managing all activity bookings and improving the department

Assisting with guests check ins and check outs

Daily admin when required

Assisting with Maintenance and vehicle issues

Job will require a lot of management rather than participating in activities yourself. Hours will be based on requirements from the activities happening daily and the lodge daily function. Occasionally you will be required to host guests and work front of house checking in and out guests and related Admin

Leave cycle 3 weeks on 1 week off

Accommodation is included and is a small house with a bedroom, shelving, small bathroom with shower, toilet basin and area for a kitchenette.

You are welcome to bring your own fridge, microwave, kettle etc for this. The room also has a little outside seating area and braai.

3 Meals a day are included

Uniform will be supplied:
White/Black logo polo shirt and either pants/short/skirt depending on what you prefer.
