    Job Description:

    The ideal candidate will possess a Matric qualification and have proven experience in a similar position.

    • Computer literacy, specifically in Excel and Office 365, is essential.
    • A strong command of both English and Afrikaans languages is required.
    • The candidate should be well-spoken and demonstrate excellent phone etiquette.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    The successful applicant will be responsible for:

    • Answering incoming calls and screening them to forward to the relevant employee.
    • Taking messages and sending emails if the employee is unavailable.
    • Reporting any issues encountered on the switchboard.
    • Welcome visitors in reception and inform the relevant employee of their arrival.
    • Arranging refreshments for in-house meetings with visitors.
    • Managing the company car keys and maintaining an up-to-date register of trips.
    • Maintaining a birthday calendar and cards for employees.
    • Participating in stock counts.
    • Assisting the Creditors Clerk by matching Goods Receiving Notes with Purchase Orders and Invoices from suppliers.
    • Following up with suppliers if invoices are not received.
    • Recording supplier evaluations on SharePoint.
    • Filing Delivery Notes.
    • Assisting the Debtors Clerk with Vendor Forms for new customers and obtaining required documentation.
    • Completing ad-hoc administrative tasks as assigned by the exco.
    • Performing other miscellaneous duties as needed.
