    Description

    Key Responsibilities

    We are seeking a creative and motivated Graphic Designer to join our team.

    • Design Creation: Design eye-catching marketing materials including digital & print ads, social media graphics, emailers & banners, newsletters, & ad hoc promotional materials based on internal briefs.
    • In-Store Signage: Conceptualising, designing and executing in-store signage such as store windows and product graphics for ATL & BTL elements.
    • Studio Photography: Learning and assisting with studio photography.
    • Catalogue Design: Designing of seasonal catalogues to showcase products effectively.
    • Marketing Support: Supporting the marketing team by providing assistance during photoshoots and events as needed.
    • Activation Media: Compilation of activation media.
    • Social Media Content: Social media content (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube & Tik Tok).
    • Basic Animation: Basic Animation (gifs, Video creation + Editing).
    • Photography Knowledge: Practical knowledge of Studio Photography (lighting, composition & basic photography).
    • Packaging Design: Packaging, Labels, Ad Hoc creative elements.
    • Digital Material: Conceptualisation and production of fresh ideas for online /digital material and print to be shot in the in-house studio.
    • Brief Execution: Executing against briefs.
    • Brand Alignment: Ensuring all work aligns with brand positioning & guidelines.
    • Competitive Research: Weekly Competitive Retail Research: Digital & In Store.
    • Image Retouching

    Qualifications And Experience

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    • A relevant Tertiary Qualification in Graphic Design.
    • 1-2 years' work experience in a corporate or agency environment.
    • Proficient in: InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator as well as any additional creative cloud suite programmes advantageous.
    • Apple Mac Efficient.
    • After Effects and Adobe Premier Pro (advantageous).
    • Microsoft Office efficient.
    • Understanding of digital and print principles i.e. Repro & Layout.
    • Attention to detail (critical).
    • Understanding of social media platforms and how to create collateral for the platforms.
    • Up to date with key digital & industry related trends.
