Description
An experienced Cost Controller is sought for this busy 5* hotel and winery consisting of multiple outlets.

Reporting to the Financial Manager and Hotel Manager, the successful incumbent will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Cost Control department which includes purchasing, receiving, stores, stock takes, calculation of Cost of Sales in both the hotel and the winery and attending to any variances and discrepancies in accordance with the policies & procedures if the hotel and winery.


Required Experience & Qualifications

  • SA Citizen
  • Matric / Grade 1
  • Minimum of 4 year's experience in a similar position
  • Diploma in purchasing management or stock control/stores management or hotel management highly advantageous
  • Sound knowledge of cost control, purchasing, stores & inventory control in a fullservice hotel or resort
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proactive, taking initiative and following through
  • Must have own reliable transport
  • Be willing to work outside of normal day shifts as and when required
