Our client in the international trade industry is seeking a motivated and talented intern to join their team and contribute to their mission of promoting and serving their community.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing setting, interact with diverse stakeholders, and develop skills essential for a career in international relations.


Job Specifications:


  • Gather trade, economic, and investment information.
  • Assist in conducting market research surveys on trade between South Africa
and India.


  • Assist in organizing trade and investment meetings/B2B sessions between
local government and business entities.


  • Update the IBF database, interact with members, and resolve arising queries.
  • Coordinate meetings and handle assigned administrative tasks.
  • Assist in verifying South African companies when needed.
  • Assist in planning and promoting Indian trade events/roadshows.
  • Write meeting minutes if required.

Requirements:


  • A Bachelor's degree or tertiary qualification in International relations, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Interest in international trade.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities with great attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Interest in diplomacy, international affairs, and cultural exchange.
  • Must have not previously participated in YES program

Salary:
R7 250,00 per month
