Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organized construction manager to oversee all aspects of our building project, managing laborers, subcontractors.

The construction manager will be responsible for ensuring all objectives, building standards and HSSE requirements are met, and for finding solutions to problems as they arise.

You will ensure all equipment and materials are available on-site as needed, and daily progress plan is executed.


Construction Manager Responsibilities:


  • Managing and motivating team.
  • Managing subcontractors.
  • Ensuring all equipment and material needed is available on site.
  • Ensuring attendance and Safety file is kept uptodate.
  • Sourcing material submit quotes
  • Ensuring the construction process starts and ends on time, and ensuring daily and weekly deadlines are met.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and all other regulations.
  • Conducting ongoing quality inspections.

Construction Manager Requirements:


  • Degree in construction management.
  • 5+ years of construction site management experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
  • Skilled at solving conflicts between different project members and staff.
  • Outstanding negotiation, organizational and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Driving license
  • Medicals/Work in Height

Salary:
R10, R13,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
