- Prepare drawings in accordance with instructions and company standards.
- Maintain accurate drawing revision control.
- Take responsibility for the correctness of work done.
- Assist, teach and mentor less experienced draughtspersons.
- 5+ years General Civil Engineering Experience.
- Certified AutoCAD Operator or National Certificate: Multi-disciplinary Drawing Office Practice.
- Membership of the South African Institute of Draughting (SAID).
- AutoCAD, other Autodesk packages, Civil Designer or Civil 3D advantageous.
- Understanding of industry codes and standards and client specifications.
- Computer literacy in AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D, Revit, Inventor, MS Office.
- Three-dimensional visualisation ability.
- Mathematical ability.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Administrative, planning, time management and organising skills.
- Understanding of engineering concepts, design processes and application of knowledge.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to think critically and analytically.
