Description:


  • A leading hospitality and tourist destination needs to fill this newly created position asap.
  • Reporting to the Group FM, your duties will not be limited but will include:
  • Full Payroll function for multiple entities (approximately 50 staff including weekly & monthly)
  • Daily/weekly wages for casual staff
  • Implementation of employee HR admin & filing system
  • Compiling Offer letters and LOA's
  • Creating operational and HR SOP's in consultation with management
  • Ensuring statutory payroll & HR compliance
  • Assisting with HR staff management processes i.e. performance reviews/training/disciplinary procedures/CCMA issues as and when required etc
  • Ensuring legislative compliance as per the BCEA/LRA
  • Identifying employee training requirements
  • SETA/WCA/SLC/BEE reports and submissions
  • Providing guidance to management regarding labour legislative best practices
  • Handling employee payroll & HR queries
  • Assisting with the recruitment process as requested
  • Management reports upon request
  • Various ad hoc duties as and when required

Requirements:


  • Completed HR degree/equivalent (Honors advantageous)
  • 5 years minimum experience in the role
  • Sound knowledge of the current BCEA/LRA
  • MS Excel intermediate skills
  • Experience on Pastel Payroll/similar system
  • Stable track record with excellent references
