Job Title: Working Maintenance Foreman (Millwright)

A challenging opportunity exists for a highly skilled and experienced Millwright to join our team in Mpumalanga, South Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Schedule and oversee maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance and plant efficiency.
2. Manage mechanical and electrical breakdowns, conduct root cause analyses, and inform maintenance staff of necessary repairs.
3. Compile schedules and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including job cards and quality work reports.
4. Coordinate daily energy measurements and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
5. Ensure timely ordering of critical spares and adherence to greasing and oiling schedules.
6. Collaborate with the production team to drive efficiency and consult on stoppages for necessary maintenance.

Requirements:

• Qualified Millwright with 5+ years of experience in food/FMCG manufacturing plants.
• 3 years of experience supervising a team.
• Strong understanding of instrumentation, SCADA, PLC, HMI, and high voltage switching.

Additional Requirements:

• FSSC 22000 certification.
• Forklift license.

Reporting Structure:

The successful candidate will report directly to the General Manager.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position requiring occasional standby and overtime duties.
