- Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical Engineering / Professional Engineer / Project Management
- 10 Years Project Management experience in EPC / EPCM environment with 5 years in managerial role
- Experience providing leadership and to manage project capabilities to execute multi-disciplinary system projects, which meet project goals
- Experience with business development of the product range and project capability
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Identify project opportunities in conjunction with stakeholders. Visit customers / plants to assess opportunities
- Complete surveying/site measurement/scanning is done to enable conceptual designs and costings
- Contract management. Reflect company requirements in commercial terms contained in proposals
- Maintain an effective cost management system
- Process and engineering design. SMEs are facilitated to enhance design capability in a cost-efficient manner
- Select, allocate and manage relevant resources for all activities in the project office
- Define project responsibilities and authorities to ensure project clarity
- Reconcile cost variances on a weekly basis
- Establish and maintain the department structure and operating model
- Develop and maintain policies, standards and procedures for the work performed in the department
- Set annual performance targets for individuals and the team
