Description

Duties:


  • Assist with teaching and dissection duties in Morphological/Clinical Anatomy in the School of Anatomical Sciences
  • Participate in research in any field related to Anatomical Sciences.
  • Serve on Faculty and University committees as necessary.
  • Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research.
  • Participate in programme administration, reviews and accreditation processes.

Qualifications and experience:


  • A health professional degree with specialist qualification or a PhD or equivalent in an appropriate discipline completed or nearing completion.
  • A DOHET/ISIaccredited publication or submission of a manuscript which demonstrates an ongoing scholarly ability
  • An experience of teaching in Anatomical Sciences at undergraduate level and/or postgraduate level, with participation in curriculum development and assessment
  • Academic administrative experience and membership of Faculty/University level committees
  • An active membership with an Academic Society related to Anatomical Sciences
  • A postgraduate qualification in Health Sciences Education would be an advantage.
