A dynamic company in the automotive industry is seeking an experienced Accounts Clerk to assist with the daily debtors and creditors functions of the business.
The main function of the role is to ensure the maintenance of debtors and creditor accounts in accordance with company's requirements.
- Debtors Function:_
- Ensure an invoice is received for all payments, and once received allocated for payment.
- Maintain accounts by following up with customers for outstanding payments. in the event of a payment being outstanding outside of the required parameters, escalate to Director for further action.
- Follow up for payments with customer within 24 hours after receipt of invoice.
- Once outstanding payments are received, allocate in bank.
- Creditors Function:_
- Ensure that invoices are loaded within 24 hours after receipt.
- Once statements are received, ensure statement is correct by checking parts, consumables and labour and prepare for payment.
- In the event of no credit note received, follow up before payment is made. No payment may be processed without receiving a credit note.
Education:
- Diploma (preferred)
Experience:
Accounts Clerk: 4 years (required)
Ability to Commute:
- Edenvale, Gauteng (required)
