POSITION:
Financial Analyst (6 Month Contract)

LOCATION:
Cape Town, Western Cape

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial analysis and support to the organization, assisting in preparing feasibility and information for property board meetings and reporting on financial related issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement
Preparing feasibilities support decision making at property board meetings and preparation for such meetings
Request and load external data to compile data sheets and individual feasibility studies
Ensure accuracy of financial data
Creating summary reports reflecting key indicators of studies and feasibility tracking files
Collaborate with other departments
Reporting on various financial aspects
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long term planning
Manage budget variance and making provisions
Monitor business performance against key metrics
Ad hoc tasks

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Grade 12 with Mathematics and Accounting
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
2 3 years experience in a financial environment preferred
Excellent analytical skills
Knowledge of budgeting principles and procedures
Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
Computer Literacy: Google Workspace, MS Excel, Google Sheets, Word etc
Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
