Main purpose of the job:

The duty manager is responsible for overseeing the daily front desk operations, ensuring employee productivity, monitoring of all processes and creating a positive work environment.

Minimum requirements:

Matric
Hotel Management Diploma advantageous
At least 2 years in a similar role and environment (Luxury Hotels)
Strong OPERA experience

Main duties

Oversee the daily duties of the Front Office department

Upselling
Train, direct the work, resolve and council the front desk team members to ensure a quality operation
Customer queries, complaints
Cash Control
Month end account management
Manage all open accounts on a daily basis
Recommend local tourist spots
