  • R R Monthly Basic Salary (Group Pension Fund, quarterly commission, Medical Aid, company vehicle with limited personal mileage)


Responsibilities will include adhering to the agreed upon routine calling schedule for assigned stores in the given sales territory including check and report on the in-store availability of listed products, manage stock levels and attain replenishment orders as required, secure favourable positioning of products in the deli counter, ensure that correct product handling procedures are being practiced at all times; and confirm that correct pricing is displayed and escalate discrepancies to management.

Other duties will include training of deli staff as required - e.g. new store openings; new product launches; staff changes. Acting as the first point of contact for customer complaints and facilitating a thorough investigation and speedy resolution. Reporting including daily store visit reports, weekly gap analysis report and ad hoc reports as required.


Requirements:


  • Retail / foodservice experience and a knowledge of the KZN area is ideal
  • Position will require travel and includes overnight sleep outs
