Salary:
Market-related plus In-house Medical Aid (50/50 contribution) and Retirement Fund (50/50 contribution)
Operations Manager to lead the development team and be the conduit between the business, systems and processes and create efficiencies within the business.
Educational Requirements:
- Grade 12 /Matric
- BSc Computer Science, B.Sc. (Informatics or Mathematics), Information Engineering
- Computer Literate inMs Word
MS Outlook
MS Visio
- SQL knowledge would be an advantage
Experience, Knowledge and Skills required:
- Work experience as an operational specialist
- Business writing skills
- Presentation and facilitation skills
- Process mapping
- Entity diagram mapping
- Software testing pack design, functional testing
- Deadline driven
- Team player and work independently
- Ability to manage a team and 3rd party suppliers
- Experience in Financial services environment
- Excellent communication (verbal and written)
- Good command of the English language
- Good interpersonal skills
- Able to interact with a wide variety of people
- Energetic
- Multitasking
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Confident and assertive
- Ability to work under pressure

Key responsibilities:
- Challenge the business on their thinking, especially to understand the intent of the business requirements in order to drive efficiencies in the organisation
- Collaborate with the Subject Matter Experts and Process owners to ensure all requirements are defined and documented correctly
- Clearly articulates and documents business requirements
- Assesses the risks of various solutions and prioritizes competing business demands
- Facilitate JAD sessions / workshops / third party meetings
- Oversight and assistance of the Development of comprehensive test packs
- Lead the execution of unit, system and performance testing
- Manage the implementation of processes
- Development of user training material
- Delivery of user training for a specific module or system
- Ability to train employees on new processes and systems
- Lead Post Implementation Support for a specific module or system as assigned
- Process Design
- Find efficiencies within the business
- Ability to manage a team
- Ability to manage 3rd party suppliers
- Develop presentations
- Interpret and design integration documents
