    Job Overview

    Rivers Labour Consultants is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, managing administrative tasks, and maintaining equipment and stock levels.

    Responsibilities

    • Patient Care: Provide excellent nursing care to patients, prioritizing their physical, emotional, and social needs.
    • Documentation: Accurately record patient information, maintain up-to-date records, and complete administrative tasks as required.
    • Maintenance: Ensure that equipment is properly maintained, repaired, or replaced when necessary.
    • Stock Management: Monitor and control stock levels, minimizing waste and ensuring availability of necessary supplies.
    • Collaboration: Work effectively with the multidisciplinary team, relatives, and community resources to deliver exceptional patient care.

    Requirements

    • Qualifications: Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a General Nurse.
    • Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and administrative skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
    • Competencies: Proficient in general nursing duties, administration, anatomy, physiology, medical and surgical conditions, wound care, infection control, and safety protocols.
