about us:


purpose:


  • To take accountability for the management and development of the audit team and provide assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control environment within FirstRand business units. To embed combined assurance in all activities and to provide consulting services to the client.

experience and qualifications:


  • Honours Degree, CA (SA), CIA, CISA or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years internal or external auditing experience of which 3 to 5 years must have been obtained at a supervisory / middle management level, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
  • Experience in banking and financial services environment will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
