The Payroll Administrator provides essential administrative support to the Human Resources Department in terms of capturing of Information, maintaining, and updating of Records, handling general queries, and forwarding of relevant correspondence.


Technical Responsibilities

  • Payroll Administration
  • Capture all new employees onto the Payroll System (VIP)
  • Capturing of terminations on the Payroll System (VIP)
  • Update personal information to ensure accurate, reliable, and valid information on the payroll system
  • Updating of payroll information (i.e. promotions, transfers, demotions, suspensions etc)
  • Prepare all necessary reports that are required and when required
  • Advise and guide Employees and Management on leave availability and entitlement
  • Monitor leave balances
  • Assist to resolve Medical Aid queries
  • Filing
  • Handling and resolve all salary queries
  • Timely response to Client requests
  • Liaise with VIP and Internal Stakeholders to ensure smooth running and compliance
  • Participate in proactive Team efforts to achieve Departmental and Company Goals
  • Adhere to all Data Management SOP's, guidelines, and confidential agreements

_Education_

  • Grade 12

_Experience_

  • Minimum of 5 years Payroll administration experience
  • Experience working on VIP people 300

Requirements:


  • SA Citizen or valid work permit to work in South Africa
  • Intermediate computer skills
