Job Overview:

The Personal Shopper will be responsible for providing personalized shopping assistance to clients, understanding their preferences, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

This role involves staying updated on fashion trends, product knowledge, and building strong client relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

Client Consultation:


  • Conduct thorough consultations to understand clients' preferences, style, and shopping needs.
  • Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor to build strong client relationships.

Product Knowledge:


  • Stay informed about the latest fashion trends, product features, and inventory.
  • Provide expert advice on clothing, accessories, and other items based on client preferences.

Personal Shopping Services:


  • Assist clients in selecting clothing, accessories, and other items according to their style and requirements.
  • Offer recommendations and alternatives, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Inventory Management:


  • Monitor and manage inventory to ensure availability of preferred products.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing team to stay informed about new arrivals and promotions.

Styling and Coordination:


  • Create stylish and cohesive outfits for clients, considering their preferences and occasions.
  • Provide guidance on accessories and complementary items to complete the look.

Customer Service:


  • Address client inquiries and concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Resolve issues to ensure a positive and satisfactory shopping experience.

Sales and Upselling:


  • Actively promote and upsell products to meet sales targets.
  • Identify opportunities for crossselling and recommend additional items to enhance the shopping experience.

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in personal shopping or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of fashion trends, styles, and brands.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Salesoriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Education:
A high school diploma is required. Additional certifications or courses in fashion and styling may be an advantage.


Working Conditions:
This role may involve working in retail environments, department stores, or boutique settings. Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays, may be required.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
Up to R25,000.00 per month
