    Business Unit Manager

    Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

    • A minimum of 3 years previous Management experience in a similar position in a similarly sized or larger operation is preferred.
    • Proven track record in developing and growing a market segment or advantageous business area.

    Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field is preferable.
    • Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in MS Office.
    • Familiarity with the Syspro System is essential.
    • Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
    • Excellent human relations skills.
    • Sales skills, including the management of the SPI – Sales methodology & IRAS platform.
    • Solid understanding of Labour Relations.

    Main Duties:

    • Oversee the entire Business Unit, encompassing sales, administration, finance, workshop and service department management.
    • Pursue new business opportunities through strategic planning and prospecting.
    • Motivate, manage and guide staff to achieve optimal performance.
    • Effectively manage stock and stock replenishment processes.
    • Implement best practices to strategically grow the business while ensuring sound financial governance.
    • Nurture relationships with customers and suppliers.
