An EME with interests in the power generation sector is looking for experienced personnel with the below skills and qualification set:

National Certificate/Diploma in Control and Instrumentation/ Light Current
Minimum 5 Years (post training) experience. Apprenticeship trained is preferred
Experience with thermocouples, transmitters, PLCs/SCADA, programming etc.
Power Generation experience a definite advantage
Must have experience in supervising and quality control of works, generation of quality documentation (QCPs, ITP, Checklists, NCRs etc)
Able to supervise a small team of mechanician. The person however must be hands on as he/she is expected to physically execute works such as testing and commission amongst others
Supervising the team to ensure compliance with all time and attendance (time sheets, shift roster requirements, looking after company assets (vehicles, tools, PPE etc)
Attending all meetings (quality, safety, progress etc)
Resolving all technical issues onsite. Liaison between Client and Head Office and ensuring all matters are resolved.
Attending to all quality and compliance issues relating to the contract.
