We have the following vacancy available at Melomed Head Office in Kenilworth:PAYROLL ASSISTANT
(FIXED TERM VACANCY)
Requirements:
- Matric
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in Payroll or an HR position with experience in Payroll
- Knowledge and experience of the Sage 300 People and Kronos System will be advantageous
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent computer and data capturing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well within a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high volume of data
- Good time management skills and the ability to be able to work under pressure
Key Outputs:
- Perform general administrative tasks
- Assist by ensuring that the weekly payroll is completed in an accurate and timely manner
- Ensure that documentation has been submitted within the required deadline and assist with the collection of outstanding documents
- Check the accuracy, completeness, and correctness of payroll documents
- Monitor the flow of Payroll documents and ensure that any corrections are timeously returned
- Maintain an accurate database of all statistics required for record keeping and reporting purposes
- Prepare reports as requested and download/run payslips for distribution
- Attend to queries
- Perform ad hoc duties as and when required
