Job Title: Product Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager to join our team in Sandton. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, investments, and alternative asset management.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing investment portfolios, performing financial analysis, and supporting the development of innovative products in the renewable energy and sustainable investment sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Modelling: Perform financial modelling and scenario analysis to support investment decisions.
Portfolio Management: Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing investments within the portfolio.
Market Analysis: Stay updated on financial market trends, news, and relevant economic developments to make informed investment decisions.
Investment Due Diligence: Assist the team in investment due diligence, including analysing company financials, industry data, and legal documentation.
Presentation Skills: Prepare presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Fund Documentation: Liaise with the senior investment team to prepare and manage fund documentation, ensuring compliance with tax incentives.
Investor Communication: Maintain regular communication with investors, providing updates on fund performance and addressing queries.
New Fund Development: Develop and launch new funds, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure fund marketing activities align with business objectives.

Requirements:

Candidate Profile: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Investments, Accounting, or a related field.
CFA Designation: CFA designation or actively pursuing CFA (preferred).
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in investment analysis, financial analysis, or a related field, with a strong track record in alternative investments.
Skills: Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and valuation skills.
Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Excel; VBA coding is a plus.
Reporting Skills: Experience in quarterly reporting and a solid understanding of financial statements and investment concepts.
Sector Interest: Keen interest in renewable energy and sustainable investment.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate effectively with investors and stakeholders.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Personal Qualities: Self-motivated with a passion for learning and continuous improvement.
