    Sales Executive - Commercial / Heavy Vehicle Industry

    Job Summary:

    A highly motivated Sales Executive is required to lead and manage sales activities for allocated strategic accounts in the commercial and heavy vehicle industry.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Plan all sales activity for allocated strategic accounts, providing customers with a point of contact scenario.
    • Apply the retail pricing framework in a sensible and profitable manner.
    • Coordinate after-sales activities for allocated strategic accounts.
    • Provide a transport consultancy service to demonstrate total operating costs.
    • Manage positive supplier relationships and contribute to sales CSM results.
    • Offer a sales engineering service to ensure correct vehicle selection and apply strict measures to the company's SHE policy at all times.
    • Ensure Best Practices are always applied and achieve or exceed agreed annual targets (unit sales, market share, and gross profit).

    Key Drivers:

    • Accurate understanding of the deal process, including deal closure, vehicle delivery, handover, payment, and deal file closure.
    • Tight control over vehicle deliveries and handovers.

    Customer Relations:

    • Manage high levels of customer interaction, keeping them updated on new vehicle transactions.
    • Follow up with prospective customers weekly via phone or email and visit them twice a month.

    Customer Retention and Growth Opportunities:

    • Maintain a synchronized database with the company database using Excel or as guided by the company.
    • Regularly update the Sales Manager and Sales Administrator on customer interactions.

    Monitoring and Administration:

    • Invoice vehicles timely and support the process.
    • Earn commission through timely vehicle payments within sale terms.
    • Correct out-of-line items and ensure all cash sales are paid in full.

    Customer Care:

    • Promote the company as a trustworthy and reliable brand through high levels of customer interaction and relevant feedback.

    Tools and Software:

    • Familiarity with HTM/Transolve electronic selling tools.
    • Ability to prepare and present customer quotations, including mass distribution drawings and route simulations.

    Requirements:

    • Matric Certificate or Higher.
    • 5 Years of NEW truck sales experience.
    • Sufficient Knowledge of trucks and the industry.
    • Proven record of Sales.
    • Knowledge of Road Traffic Act and Regulations.
    • Experience with HTM/Transolve.
    • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office.
    • Integrity and honesty.
    • Code 10 or 14 driver license is advantageous.

    Package & Remuneration:

    R 15,000 - R 20,000 Monthly plus Commission + Travel Allowance + Medical Allowance + Provident Fund
