    Job Description: The role of the Financial Accountant Assistant involves managing creditor accounts, which includes data validation, reconciliation of accounts, and maintaining good relationships with suppliers. Key responsibilities include:
    • Interacting with suppliers to ensure timely receipt of statements and invoices.
    • Capturing invoices to meet month-end deadlines.
    • Ensuring invoices and statements comply with SARS standards.
    • Performing reconciliations accurately and timeously.
    • Resolving queries on accounts with no queries older than 30 days.
    • Assisting with the take-on of new suppliers.
    • Preparing month-end suppliers accruals.
    • Identifying and minimizing risk areas in the supplier payment process.

    Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:
    • A Grade 12 certificate.
    • An Accounting qualification (advantageous).
    • Advanced Excel skills.
    • 3-4 years of experience in a financial environment.
    • Statistical and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Problem-solving ability.

    Estimated Salary: R250,000 - R350,000 per annum, depending on experience.
