Our client has a big solar/substation project in Upington, they are seeking a talented and experienced SCM (Supply Chain Management) Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Job Title: SCM (Supply Chain Management) Engineer

Location: Upington - South Africa

Salary: Market Related

Closing date: End of May 2024

Type: Contract work

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency.
• Analyze and optimize current supply chain processes.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance.
• Utilize data analytics for forecasting and inventory management.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years' Proven experience in supply chain management or logistics.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Proficiency in supply chain modeling tools and ERP systems.
