Core Description:

Responsible for consulting and providing support to the core Openserve Enterprise Architecture Management team through interpreting the business requirements and architecture.

Also support solution development efforts and IT Governance processes.

Responsibilities:

Understand key challenges that sponsor, and key stakeholders are facing
Work with Enterprise Architect to define opportunities that create business value for the enterprise
Define specific business solutions and structures needed to realize these opportunities
Work with other architects to explore and define how the proposed solutions will fit into the overall enterprise architecture
Help define performance goals, metrics, and key milestones for proposed solutions
Review prototypes, enterprise blueprints, and scope of initiatives to meet business imperatives
Develop/Confirm Technology Imperatives and Guiding Principles
Assess Current Capabilities
Validate Capability Discovery
Create Business Capability Blueprint
Identify and Prioritize Opportunities
Validate Opportunities
Summarize Blueprint Requirements
Develop Process Blueprint
Validate Enterprise Architecture
Define and Integrate Opportunities into Initial Plan
Develop Implementation Plans

Required Certification:

TOGAF

Qualifications:

Relevant 3 or 4 year Degree/ Diploma (NQF level 6)

Experience:

5 Years relevant Business Architecture experience of which at least 2 years on Management (leading teams) level.

Special Requirements:

Valid driver's license.

Ability to work under pressure for long durations

Communication skills

Comments:

Preference will be given to AA/EE applicants.
