    A Senior Stock Controller vacancy exists at Life Flora Hospital, reporting to Elize Lundt, Inventory Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality pharmaceutical services, financial objectives, legislative compliance and people management requirements are achieved to the required standards.

    Critical Outputs

    • Manage surgical stores departments and/or theatres.
    • Procure, control and distribute surgical/consignment stock effectively.
    • Ensure accurate receiving and receipting of surgical/consignment stock.
    • Order and capture prosthesis invoices and transfers to theatre.
    • Implement and maintain the LHC formulary.
    • Participate in stock-takes and cycle counts.
    • Manage sales representatives and count consignment stock.
    • Manage loan stock and requests for invoices.
    • Handle dead stock and short-dated stock.
    • Generate reports on negative stock, outstanding orders.
    • Address queries from stakeholders.
    • Maintain a culture of quality and operational excellence.
    • Perform administrative tasks as needed.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 qualification.
    • Computer literacy.
    • Effective communication skills.
    • Responsible, mature team player with customer focus.
    • Good interpersonal skills.
    • Self-motivated and disciplined individual.
    • 5 years' experience in stock management.
    • Private healthcare experience beneficial.
