Our Upper Wynberg family clients are seeking an au pair to assist their family full day Mondays to Fridays.

They have had au pairs before with their older children and they like the au pair to be part of the family in the nicest possible way.

They have a 7 year old boy that needs taking care of.

The job is varied as below :
)

They seek an au pair who:

Can go between the role of au pair to admin assistant, shopper, cook AND fun big sister
Is aware of neurodiversity and adapts her way of being with this special child to meet his needs and support him.
Is smart, warm, loving, compassionate, kind and calm
Has 'maturity' from life experience and approach to life (not age)
Is flexible in her approach to life as plans can change suddenly
REALLY Can 'swing with the changes' as Mom and Dad sometimes like to change their mind and make another plan, or they just want to be Spontaneous
Is an out the box thinker.
Is computer literate with good computer skills for both admin & educational /games for the 7 year old
Is willing to do some local travel & overseas travel with the family.

TIME:
Mondays to Fridays from 7.30am to 5pm. Occasional babysitting/ stayover/ weekend away with the family & possibly travel overseas on a holiday or two.

DESCRIPTION:

Mornings arrive and get the 7yr off to school in the southern suburbs.
Assist with whatever is required in the mornings admin for Dad, household needs for Mom and shopping and errand running.
Pick him up from his school and keep him occupied in the afternoons.
He is smart and his mind is more of an 9+ year old yet at times he is emotionally more needy so he will need quiet spaces and a calm person to go with his flow and not force him to meet expectations.
Spend quality time with him in the afternoon swim with him and have fun
Find fun things and outings to do to distract him off his screens.
Engage him in play by going down to his level and meeting him in laughter & joy
Arrange some playdates.
Take him to some extra murals or sport activities.
Leave when dinner is on the go around 5pm.

R16, R18,500.00 per month
