    Description

    About the Role

    This position is ideal for a motivated software engineer who thrives in complex, multi-year international projects within an agile development environment alongside experienced R&D test engineers.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Design and develop Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocol software components for digital communication systems.
    • Maintain high-quality software that meets coding standards and relevant technical specifications.
    • Verify the protocol stack against technical specifications to ensure reliability and efficiency.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (or similar).
    • 0-5 years of professional experience in software development.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • C++ programming skills for embedded software development.
    • Knowledge of the OSI stack paradigm, especially data link and network layers.
    • Familiarity with test-driven development and code quality tools.
    • Bonus Experience:
      • VOIP implementation on H.264.
      • Understanding of IP and L3 Routing or MANET implementations.
      • Experience with agile Scrum methodology.

    $120,000 - $180,000 per year
