Glenstantia Primary School seeks to appoint a Foundation Phase Teacher - starting date 12 April 2023

About us:
Glenstantia Primary School was established in 1981 to serve the south-eastern suburbs of Pretoria. It started out as a small school with 500 pupils and today serves
almost 1500 learners.
We are seeking a Foundation Phase Teacher with experience in Physical Education and in teaching swimming.

Qualifications & Experience_**
Education:
  • REQV14 qualification (4
  • year Education Diploma or B-ED Foundation Phase Degree.

Knowledge & Experience:

Qualification should be enhanced by at least 3 years' experience in a school receptionist role:

  • Minimum two years teaching experience in Foundation Phase.
  • A qualification in Physical Education would be an advantage.
  • Able to teach swimming, or a swimming coach qualification would be an advantage.
  • Computer Literate.
  • SACE Certificate.
  • Advance proficiency in English.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Must have no criminal record a police clearance is a requirement for this role
  • Must have a valid driver's license and own transport
