Minimum Requirements:

Own Car and valid Drivers
Degree educated or equivalent experience
Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Chain or equivalent.
Qualification in either Logistics, Supply Chain management
Advanced Excel CPD accredited.
SQL skilled desirable.
Worked in FMCG environment.
Experience of staff management. Development of a young team.
In-depth knowledge of various IT systems

Duties and Responsibilities:


Supply Chain Manager Global will take complete ownership for the man management, development and training of the Supply Chain Team (IFR / In flight retail and BOB) in SA and UK, implement The Company's Retail strategy with personal KPIs and objectives to both their own and team to deliver client service expectations and business growth.

Implementation of new planning/forecasting Relex Software into SA & UK, and Taining of all key staff with regards to how to use the software.

Responsible for the ongoing development of Relex software to drive value optimisation through the TRS Supply Chain.
Reviewing and updating supply chain practices in line with company policies, standards, laws and regulations
Negotiating terms and prices with suppliers and freight companies, monitoring and assessing their performance and
maintaining cost-effective practices
Implementing logistic strategies, tracking goods from the origination point to the warehouse.
Analysing the supply chain data and solving any issues or putting alternative plans in place.
Identifying and minimising risk by predicting the demand for products and implementing new process with no interruption to service.
Responsible for all stock relevant budgeted components - covering stock budgets, fresh food waste budgets etc.

Management of the optimisation of retail loading to drive sales, responsibility for leading change to drive availability, lower total stock holding and decreasing obsolesce through the consistent controlled flow of stock.

Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution.
Review and implement ways to improve supply chain networks B2B and B2C.
Put in place Supply Chain strategy for growth and development.
Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Customs and Excise regulations is being delivered by suppliers and 3PL.
Deputise as required in the absence of the Head of Supply Chain & Operations Global
Weekly performance reviews
Adhoc analysis and reporting both internally and externally for Clients.
Be prepared to work Flexible hours and out of hours escalation (Standard Hours - Monday to Friday
