    Job Title: Area Manager

    Bogart is seeking an experienced and motivated Area Manager to lead a team of Store Managers, Stylists, and Drivers in the Limpopo Region.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage Daily Operations:
      • Ensure timely opening and closing of stores with all staff present 15 minutes prior.
      • Address out-of-stock issues and assist stores in rectifying problems.
      • Supervise and guide staff to maximize sales.
      • Develop a safe and positive work environment.
      • Solve day-to-day problems and follow disciplinary procedures.
      • Report unresolved staff issues to Head Office.
      • Recruit suitable staff for vacancies, with potential managers interviewed by HR and/or Operations Manager.
    • Training and Development:
      • Train staff on daily responsibilities, brand promotion, and customer service.
      • Conduct new staff inductions and train staff on product knowledge, sales, and stock take procedures.
      • Evaluate employee performance and develop individual development plans.
      • Issue warnings and ensure compliance with company procedures.
      • Assist in interviews, recruiting, and training staff.
    • Stock Control:
      • Ensure security and risk control measures are in place.
      • Conduct store counts and monitor stock levels.
      • Provide feedback to OPS and Head Office on stock performance.
      • Follow up on outstanding IBTs and ensure accuracy.
    • Sales and Targets:
      • Achieve daily sales targets and monthly store targets.
      • Monitor sales and staff performance, identifying areas for improvement.
      • Ensure accurate banking procedures are followed.
      • Send paperwork to Head Office after the weekend.
    • Customer Service:
      • Deliver timely and quality services to customers.
      • Address customer issues and queries accurately and efficiently.
    • Visuals:
      • Maintain high visual standards across all stores.
      • Ensure stock rotation and merchandising principles are adhered to.
    • General:
      • Ensure only authorized personnel have access to keys.
    • Reporting:
      • Provide regular reports to Head Office, including incident reports and stock feedback.
      • Submit promotion suggestions and other relevant information.

    • Regularly review and adjust goals as needed.
    • Identify areas for improvement and take action to address them.

    Administration:

    • Ensure accurate administration of stock, sales, and banking procedures.
    • Complete weekly checklists and provide feedback to National Operations Manager.
    • Verify that store teams are completing their daily planners and providing relevant information.

    Employee Scheduling:

    • Create and distribute accurate employee schedules (rosters).
    • Ensure sufficient floor coverage during trading periods.
    • Sign off and distribute rosters to staff.
    • No store should operate with less than two employees.
    • Regularly review leave intervals to prevent excessive leave build-up.

    Estimated Salary: R200,000 - R250,000 per annum
