An established restaurant situated in Lynnwood Pretoria is seeking an experienced barman to join its team in its service bar.
Benefits:
Overtime
Grade 12 Minimum
Working Hours: 180 hours per week (overtime capped at 40 hours extra). Includes weekends
Experience:
Minimum 2 years previous experience at an upper tier establishment
Reporting Line:
Floor Manager
Knowledge of cocktails and drinks would be beneficial. Knowledge of POS systems would be beneficial.
Qualities:
Vibrant, funky, energetic, well spoken, presentable, extrovert
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Mix traditional and creative cocktails.
- Preparation of other alcoholic & nonalcoholic drinks
- Daily preparation of garnish to be served with cocktails and drinks.
- Daily stock and freshness checks (making sure that old stock is sold before expiry date)
- Daily counting of stock and checking of variances (if applicable)
- Clean glasses and bar utensils
- Make drinks per order in accordance with the recipe.
- Have an extreme understanding of the cocktail menu as well as the recipes per drink.
Salary:
R4 500,00 - R5 300,00 per month
Experience:
- Bartending: 2 years (required)
