Your Mission

Your mission will be to plan, control and execute a broad set of activities to deliver a wide range of IT and/or business projects to agreed cost, timelines and quality.

Responsibilities

• Planning and coordinating the execution of the team's tasks to ensure the timeliness and quality of the required deliverables. In addition, interacting with clients to determine and understand their requirements and ensure they are met
• Responsible for effective stakeholder selection and engagement for the duration of the project.
• Reporting to stakeholders including senior management regarding project schedule, budget performance, risk, and issue mitigation planning
• Responsible for the definition, documentation and satisfactory delivery of projects.
• Keeping project scope changes to a minimum.
• Applies Project Management disciplines around all deliverables including planning, scope management, RAID management, resource management, procurement management, finance management and quality management.
• Delivering projects and milestones within agreed timeframe.
• Drive accurate budget estimation and manage via appropriate project management controls.
• Manage the Project Change Control procedure to track and deliver approved deviations from the initial scope.
• Manage escalations when tolerances are breached in terms of cost, time and quality
• Mentoring, motivating and efficiently utilizing assigned team members to achieve project goals
• Provide leadership to project resources to drive the delivery of the project deliverables
• Manage resources and stakeholders across multiple geographies and time zones.
• Undertake postproject implementation reviews to measure the benefits derived by the project, capture and share lessons learned

Qualifications

• Educated to degree or diploma level, preferably in Information Technology
• Ideally a Project Management Qualification
• Has achieved proficiency in project management and change delivery.
• Has proven, relevant experience in the implementation and delivery of changes to IT systems including, but not limited to ERP systems and associated technologies
• Manufacturing and Supply Chain management an added advantage
• Has proven knowledge and experience of the software development lifecycle and how this translates to the project delivery frameworks.
• Has proven leadership skills, and a good knowledge of business analysis.
• Understands corporate policy frameworks, management structures and reporting procedures, and can see the 'big picture'.
• Has strong planning, communication and presentation skills.
• Is proficient in project quality management.
• Can lead a team of Analysts and Consultants through the entire project lifecycle.
• Has an analytical and creative approach to problem solving.
• Has sound understanding of the costs of IT (project and operations) and the ability to identify cost saving or revenue generating benefits.
